This is our second barrel aged coffee of the season, and this one is a bit different than the first. It features a honey processed Costa Rican coffee, so it’s going to be sweeter, and this barrel housed a blended barrel aged milk stout from Old Irving Brewing. This is a complex coffee that features notes of vanilla and cranberry, with a little bit of booziness that isn’t overpowering. This is a high quality coffee paired with a high quality barrel, and is versatile for use in any brew method.
