- ¾ oz Tea-Infused Simple Syrup (recipe below)
- Extra ice
Tea-Infused Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cane sugar (for a thicker/sweeter syrup, double your sugar)
- 3–4 tea bags (or 1 tbsp loose leaf) of your favorite tea
Instructions:
- Steep the Tea: Bring the water to a gentle boil, then remove from heat. Add your tea of choice and steep for 5–7 minutes. Stronger flavor = better syrup.
- Make the Syrup: Remove tea bags or strain the leaves. While the tea is still hot, stir in the sugar until completely dissolved.
-
Cool & Store: Let the syrup cool fully before bottling. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Assemble Your Matcha Latte
- Whisk 2g of Brewpoint's Ceremonial Grade Matcha with a splash of warm (not boiling) water in a zig-zag motion for 30–45 seconds until smooth and frothy.
- In your cup, add ¾ oz of your tea syrup, then pour in 8 oz oat milk.
- Add extra ice.
- Top with the matcha shot & mix.
