June is pride month and we are glad, as always, to support and honor the LGBTQIA+ community. 🥰
This year, we (together with @glassandgrainphoto) are sponsoring the Elmhurst Pride Fest & Car Parade 🏳️🌈 (hosted by @elmhurstchurch)!
Decorate your car and join us on a 2 mile drive through Elmhurst for this fun, safe, and family-friendly event. The top decorated cars will win prizes from either us or @glassandgrainphoto! 💯
When: This Saturday, June 20th
Where: Meet us at the Elmhurst Presbyterian Church parking lot at 11AM
Details: We will begin the route out of the parking lot at 11:30am, making three loops around the two mile route, finishing by 12:15pm

P.S. In no way do we want to take away from the momentum and impact that has started through the BLM movement in Elmhurst. First, we would like to loudly state that Black Trans Lives Matter and are at the center of the history of Pride. Second, our hope is that we can build a wider coalition across Elmhurst to harness our momentum and continue building support for the change that needs to happen in our community. With that said, we will continue to update on our steps to becoming an anti-racist company.
