What does being essential mean?

This question has been on my mind since we found out we were still allowed to operate under the Stay at Home order. Is what we do essential? It's not making hand sanitizer or masks. It's definitely not as essential as those on the medical frontlines.

Then we talked with some of those medical professionals, and the first thing I heard from them is how hard it is to find good coffee (maybe they told me because I own a coffee company, but hey, it was good to hear). That got me thinking, what if the Brewpoint community could help fuel our local guardians with great coffee?

Today we started by donating our first 5lb bag to Brian @bbreckley at Physicians Immediate Care. Brian is a regular of Brewpoint (he was once highlighted on our social media) and his facility is one of the first in Illinois doing rapid testing of COVID-19. This kind of work is vital for our community, and starting this week, we want to invite you into our newest initiative: Fuel our Frontlines.
