Sweet Coconut "Condensed" Latte

Sweet Coconut "Condensed" Latte - Brewpoint Coffee

The Sweet Coconut "Condensed" Latte is simple, thick, and oh-so coffee forward. We’ve paired the smoothness of our Nova Cold Brew Concentrate with the sweet, rich texture of a homemade coconut condensed syrup.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 cup of raw sugar
  • 2 oz. The Nova Cold Brew Concentrate
  • 2 oz. water
  • Ice
  • 4 oz. of coconut milk (for finishing)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Coconut Sweet "Condensed" Milk:
    • Set your burner to a low heat setting.
    • Pour 8 oz. of coconut milk into a saucepan and bring to a low boil.
    • After about 5 minutes, add 1 cup of raw sugar to the saucepan.
    • Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly.
    • Keep the burner on low heat until the mixture begins to bubble slightly.
    • Let it simmer for 15-25 minutes until the mixture has thickened to a sauce-like consistency.
      • N★VA Notice: Check on the mixture every 5 minutes and stir in small circular motions.
    • Remove from heat and pour the mixture into a container.
  2. Ice Bath:
    • In a large bowl or bucket, fill with ice and place your container with the condensed coconut milk in the center of the ice. This will help the mixture cool down and thicken further.
    • After 10 minutes of chilling, your mixture is ready to serve lewks.
  3. Make the Nova Cold Brew Base:
    • In your glass, combine 2 oz. of The Nova Cold Brew Concentrate with 2 oz. of water. Stir to mix.
  4. Combine and Adjust Sweetness:
    • Start by adding 4 teaspoons of the chilled coconut sweet "condensed" syrup to your cold brew. Stir well and taste.
      1. N★VA Notice: Adjust the sweetness by adding more of the mixture if desired, in increments of 1 teaspoon.
  5. Finish and Enjoy:
    • Top the cold brew with ice and add 4 oz. of coconut milk.
    • Give it a final stir, then sip and enjoy.
  6. Store:
    • Refrigerate the remaining coconut sweet "condensed" syrup and use within a few days.
